Said the Sabah Pan Borneo Highway cost rose from RM12.86 billion to RM24.89 billion after the project switched from the project delivery partner model to conventional federal contracts in 2019.

Said nine Phase 1A packages of the Sabah Pan Borneo Highway would be completed and opened to traffic in 2026.

Told Sabah Pan Borneo Highway contractors to work overtime after Phase 1A fell to 85.25 per cent progress against a scheduled 93.96 per cent.

Said the government was confident the Pan Borneo Highway would be completed as promised, with the agreed quality standards and budget.
